Contrast Equipment, as it is known today, was originally founded in 1923 and incorporated in 1968 as Contrast Paint Company. The company manufactured paint for the automotive aftermarket and industrial accounts. In the mid 30s, Contrast Paint also began supplying their automotive customers with spray guns and paint application equipment. In the mid 70s, they expanded into the fiberglass reinforced products market and started selling fiberglass equipment.
