On the day of my appointment, the receptionist said I had a $40 copay. This was incorrect, my insurance calls for a $20 for a mental health provider.

So I cancelled the appointment and called my insurance company, was told the copay should be $20.

I called back and spoke to billing. The billing rep was rude and said she did not know what I was talking about, that if I wanted to pay $20 I should have. I explained to her that the receptionist would not take less than $40. Repeat the above argument 3 times. Finally out of frustration I told her to kiss my a$$ and hung up.

Then I called again and spoke with the manager who informed me they bill the insurance electronically and it came back $40. I then said this was incorrect because I had confirmed with the insurance company and could she call them She refused and told me they would not be seeing me because I had "cussed out" the billing lady. This office scams people by charging higher copays than they are entitled to. RIPOFF

at peace...

I appreciate the caring and devotion Dr. Barash and Dr. Ulusarac have shown me and my family in our worst times. Without them, I would be divorced and unemployed. They saved my life. Thank you Doctors'. '

This office is the most frustrating doctor's office I have ever experienced! When you call, you have to leave a message to get a call back for an appointment (What??) and if you need to talk to someone in the office for paperwork or an insurance question...good luck! Wait time to talk to a receptionist so that you can leave a message for someone can take up to 30 minutes. Who has time to wait for this? When I needed some paperwork completed for my son and his 504 plan at school, it took over a month to get it! I left 4 messages with the nurse and medical records people and NEVER received a return call. I'm just saying...if you can find a different office to work with--you should do it!! Don't even get me started about Dr. Barash and our medication experience with him!

This doctor's office has a rude and hostile work staff, a reflection of the doctors no less. The Office Manager has a horrible temper and the staff are aloof and arrogant. Don't believe the 5 star reviews below. Psychiatrists don't prevent people from getting unemployed or divorced. They rarely save lives on their own (that's an emergency room doctor). Improve lives, perhaps, but if someone said to a psychiatrist (s)he was suicidal, the doctor would immediately refer them to an emergency room.

Shady business model, kind of. No direct phone numbers listed for service providers, no e-mail addresses for anyone. Non-responsive staff. In my opinion very dishonest and unprofessional.

This organization is a joke. I recommend going elsewhere for help. Dr Young, Dr Barrash, and Dr Mossinghoff all have an "im better than you attitute". If you must go here Dr Ulisaric is your best bet. He is the most professional and friendly of the bunch and actually listened to me about how I reacted to one particular drug and responded accordingly. Its a shame his associates can`t do the same. I wasted a lot of time and money at this place over the past few years and not once did I recieve a thank you for my continued patranoge. The various drugs I was prescribed did more harm than good. My best appointments were the ones I missed.
