Barry School, located in Kansas City, Mo., is a learning center that provides educational services to students in prekindergarten through eighth grade. The school staff includes guidance counselors, nurses, paraprofessionals, speech therapists, social workers, custodians and Title-I reading teachers. It provides Spanish as a foreign language. The school also conducts special and gifted education programs. It offers a range of sports activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and track and field. In addition, the school provides extracurricular activities, including vocal music, band, student council and adventure club.
