Matt. 25:31-46. " .........if you have given to the least of these my bretheren, you have given unto me." My name is Evelyn and I had the pleasure of working 7 years at KDC. It literally changed my life in so many wonderful ways. I loved the work of caring for those who Christ came to serve, and yet I found myself being changed in the process. I became a better Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. I found that bringing items to share with others allowed things to come back(sowing/reaping) that blessed my life, too. I also began to love people in a way that I felt was more in tune to how Jesus loves us. It was more genuine and more agape-like. I believe that was one of the reason's I went there to give and to learn how to receive, too. It still holds a very special place in my heart even though I stopped working there(job transition) at the end of 1994. It is a wonderful place to stop in and see the evidence of God's work exemplified within its confines.
