The people in this shelter are RUDE. I was greeted very politely, until I mentioned being interested in pet adoption. At that point I was treated like a criminal. The native girl was VERY pleasant, the snotty girl with the dark blondish hair however was a nightmare. She was extremely possessive over the dog I was interested in. Kept staring me and my family up and down. Answered my questions in a rude, clipped tone, and made sure I knew that SHE was the dogs favorite and there was nothing special about my connection with it. I cannot even begin to explain the utter invasion of privacy I experienced during the application process. Only in the end to be shot down with no explanation. Even though my references were all excellent, I own a home, am financially stable etc. The girl sounded very pleased to finally turn me down, since she called several times coming up with new excuses for why they needed to dig even deeper into my life. When I made the decision to get a new pet, since mine passed away 4 years ago. I thought adoption was going to be the right choice. This was such a horrendous experience that I will seriously NEVER attempt to adopt from a shelter again. Especially this particular shelter. They really need to learn some customer service skills.

i think the groomer at GHS is excellent the way she relates to animals is excellent every time people bring their animals to be groomed they are always excited to see her they call her the cat wisperer

I took my toy poodle to get groomed here and they did a horrible job. The hair is uneven, knots in her ears still and face barely touched. Worst of all they charged me $15.00 extra to clip her nails without my permission. Total cost of a bad grooming job $85.00.
