The employees are rude and unkempt. The customer service is poor at best. You have been warned.

Do not buy gas from DeHart's! I put gas in my boat before luanching from Auke Bay and it flodded my fuel system with water. My raycor immediately got saturated with water after warming up at the harbor. I got outside the harbor and raycor no longer could filter out the water. The bad fuel killed both my main and my kicker. I barely limped back in and when I let DeHart's know of the problem they tried to blame my boat. My weekend was shot after the harbor incident and then removng the water from my system. I simply asked for my money back as I purchased 87 octane and they gave me H2O. I've never had the problem in Juneau but I know it exists. We live in a rainforest. At least have the decency to do right by your customers. When I told the owner, Daniel Hickock, that he just lost a long time customer, he said "that's fine." Well, if this is the level of service I guarantee I'm not the only customer disappointed. Long-timer Juneauite here and all I can say is, I wish the city would demo the place and put the roundabout in where it belongs. DeHart's is not a friend of the city. It's a poorly run store that is only around because of its location. Where's an Auke Bay Breeze in? DeHart's is archaic. We need customer service and decency in Auke Bay. Not egotistical scumbags with next to no understanding of common business practices. It's disappointing but Juneau has no place for this kind of an operation.
