I have had a storage unit with Economy since 2003. I have seen a lot of changes in 12 years, even a change in ownership. I still have my unit (10 x 20). I have never had an issue that wasn't resolved to my satisfaction. In response to a previously posted review claiming that they couldn't get in after hours, they must have been behind on rent and maybe overlocked because there is an electronic keypad at the gate that every renter can use to get in.

We went down on a Friday to pick up our things. They weren't suppose to close until 5pm. We got there at 4:30 and they were already closed. We called and got a hold of a woman that works there. We told her we just drove all the way from Cape Girardeau, MO. She said she would get someone down there and she would call us back. She said she could meet us there in the morning at 10am. We stayed the night and of course the next morning no one showed. So we were out money for a hotel room. On our way home the next day we were involved in a car accident in cardwell MO. It cost us $320 to get us and our vehicle towed back to Cape Girardeau. So it was a very expensive; long; waisted trip. The storage people didn't even act remorseful or compassionate. Think twice about storing your belongings here. Please check around, they are not worth it!!!!!!!!
