I got a PRK surgery, which is the predecessor to the LASIK procedure. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout my exams and through the entire procedure in general. After the surgery I had very simple, clear instructions to follow, and I had literally only 3 days of irritation due to the contact lenses required to protect my eyes during recovery, and after they were removed on the third day, the irritation disappeared. My eyesight was ridiculously bad, basically legally blind and I have been 100% dependent on glasses/contacts for around 15 years and it was such an amazing feeling that after a surgery that took literally like, 5-10 minutes, my eyesight was just, fixed, just like that. It did take me a few months to get to that 20/20 vision but during that recovery time I was still able to see very well, more than enough to function quite easily. Dr. Hashmi was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process and I can't thank her enough!!!
