Hey Jin Chong, MD, PhD, is division director for Pediatric Allergy and Immunology and program director of the Immune Dysregulation Diagnosis and Treatment Program at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Chong received both her medical degree and her doctorate in microbiology and immunology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital followed by a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Chong's academic interests are care of patients with inborn errors of immunity and creating a multidisciplinary approach to the management and treatment of patients with both primary and secondary causes of immune deficiency.
