I have my father in-law over 3 weeks,R-227 Was bathe twice,My mother in-law asked one of the nurses why they don't give him a shower?Her answer was, Only twice a week he will get a bath!!This place look like a palace,But there care is Poor... An again she call another nurse, an comment to her about a red mark around his right wrist, it looks infected,but nothing was done.She asked her, why her husband was not in therapy?she said Oh, he told me the he was going home today!!! What kind of Communication these nurses have? Do they look at the patients records, before they go to see them? To see how sick he is . Because her husband has acute dementia.it seems as though Nobody really cares about the quality of service these patients get. i would like to know if they would like their parents treated the way mine is He call the nurses to go to the bathroom, It takes them 20 min to get him, He always smells dirty,It's Sad how he's treated.REMEMBER He's Not Alone..We will do Something.

Nothing but a great experience. The staff truly care about the residents. The facility is working so hard at making it a more beautiful home for our loved ones, and I for one, truly appreciate it, as does my entire family. Cherry Hill and staff ..you are to be commended !

Impossible to describe, as I have not yet begun to comprehend the terrible treatment of patients at Cherry Hill Manor. My family has watched repeated atrocities take place there; up to and including being unresponsive when my sister's oxygen tank ran empty causing her to go into respiratory distress. She fell 3 times an has not had a shower in 3 weeks. She is dying of cancer and her asinine doctor prescribed rehab. She is being treated as a geriatric case and there is no assistance with meals, personal hygiene or walking. My family is horrified and we all agree that Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston RI, should be closed down. We will help that happen.What is the care like? EXAMPLE:When I approached a CNA who was removing trays from a room, and told her my sister's oxygen tank was empty, she ignored me. When I said it again, she looked at me and smiled and began to sing in her native Jamaican tongue then walked away. The list gets longer. It's like a horror movie.
