Bought a car on Friday afternoon. By 9am the following morning, we had to sink $500 into a new radiator and another $100 the following day for a new water pump.When I called the lot on Saturday, to give them an opportunity for a good faith effort to fix the situation, I was told they "MIGHT" be able to do the repairs at their cost, but that she'd have to make a phone call and didn't have the time to do so because she was "tied up" with other business. My husband and I decided to have our own (trusted) mechanic do the work. Because we went with someone we knew and trusted, I was told today (within three days of buying the car) that there was nothing they could do...that they weren't paying for someone else's repairs.I didn't expect miracles, but even the slightest bit of humility would've been appreciated. Instead, she said "I'm surprised those brakes weren't more pressing of an issue to you than the radiator."*head tilt* Umm...I didn't mention the brakes to this woman. At all. Ever. So, she already KNEW the brakes in it were bad? Well, doesn't THAT just speak volumes about her character. Not to mention that she interrupted me at least five times when I talked to her and then raised her voice to me when I returned the gesture.I don't ask for much. In fact, I would've been content with a few oil changes over the next year. But she was too busy trying to remind me that there was no warranty.Sometimes, it's not about a warranty...it's about doing the right thing and keeping a customer. And Deb Stephens did NOT do the right thing here.I will NEVER do business with Stephens automotive again.

Stephens performs excellent service on my vehicle when needed. They have always had a loaner vehicle available to me, and their customer service mannerisms are impeccable. The overall service experience I've received here is exceeded by only one other facility-The Infiniti dealer in Omaha. If I should ever be in need of a used vehicle, this would be my 1st stop.
