First off, I've been going to this facility for years, and only because Joe worked there and was amazing. There have been times that I couldn't pay up front with the promise that I would pay the bill later and I have ALWAYS made sure my bill was always paid off.
I get a sense that there is low income profiling, I have never had a good experience with the general staff or the lady who takes my blood OR the girls at the window up front, OR the office manager.
They decide who they want to charge the full office visit or who they want to bill and then just let them pay later. How do I know this???? Because my husband and I both have the exact same insurance plans, they let him go right on to see Joe, told him not to worry, they would just send him the bill, but when my turn came to see Joe, they told me the full 75.00 was due right then, no exceptions, nadda. I had been off my nerve medications for awhile because I just couldn't afford them at the time, but if Joe hadn't told me it would be ok, that he knew I was good for it, I would have never bothered then. I have never given this office reason to suspect my bill would not be paid, otherwise, I wouldn't have even bothered, because then I could see why they wouldn't let me do it then.
Maybe it was because the incompetent billing office that either kept forgetting to send me my charges, or sending my bill 14 months later gave them a reason to think I wasn't paying my bill, but every time I received one I ALWAYS paid it, never left it outstanding. Their office staff is rude, but I do like the general nurses and Joe, sorry Joe, but I won't be coming to see you again.
Oh yeah, the girl up front with the dark hair, younger, the one who usually opens the window, basically told me she didn't care if my husband or I ever came back to their office or not. Congratulations Joe, with her attitude, you may be losing more of your patients, you just lost 2 today. Sorry Joe, my husband and I really like you, you're awesome, but we won't be coming back.
EDIT: 4/07/18- Mr. Reid is not the professional I thought he was, I was sent a letter from his office basically stating "Given that you have been cautioned on multiple occasions on these same issues", meaning that they were implying I had caused trouble on numerous occasions. What issues, and what occasions, I have no idea, I was a model patient until their billing office tried to make me pay for their mistakes, and having to put up with the rude staff, and now I'm learning the hard way that Mr. Reid isn't professional at all.

Genesis is a total God send! T...

Genesis is a total God send! Their professionalism is outstanding and their patient care reflects their deep caring for each individual (speaking not only of the doctors, but of the entire staff). I would take either one of my children there as well as myself and my husband above any other healthcare provider in the Tri Cities!!!! From the most serious cases to the most mild I have known them to be absolutely spot on with their diagnosis and care. I have many friends that go there and I have heard nothing but fantastic, rave reviews! I read the reviews before me and I have to say that when the person said no one had called them back for 4 or 5 days I don't think that is typical! I know they had just opened this office when that happened and I think this is an isolated incident. I have had to call a few times and I have received a call back within a couple of hours if not sooner.
