I have done business with Jim and the staff at Browns Mill for many years. They offer exellent service, fair pricing and damage free towing. Keep up the good work!

Browns Mill Wrecker Service is the best by far and the only wrecker service me and my family will ever use. They are very kind and always try to make a bad situation (broken vehicle) a little bit easier for their customer. They are very professional, and have been around for almost five decades.

When the front axle on my Subaru broke just as I was getting on I-26 at Market Street I called AAA who dispatched a wrecker from this company to take me to my mechanic's place in Elizabethton. Fortunately the driver arrived within 20 minutes. But that's not the important part. The important part is that he was most courteous and professional. Being on a hazardous part of the highway between a set of on/off ramps, with drivers weaving in and out of traffic, he made sure I was in a safe place while he loaded up my vehicle. I appreciated the empathy he expressed as we made our way to my mechanic's. When we arrived at the end of our trip he assisted the two mechanics waiting for us in downloading the car carefully so as not to cause any more damage. Before he left he asked if there was anything more he could do for me. I'm thankful for all the help I received.

The person driving the wrecker was courteous and kind, but the office staff are rude and the rates are highway robbery. To have my vehicle towed a total of 3-4 miles and stored for two days the charge was $230.00 This is ridiculous and an outrage. When I called to question the charge I was told it was because they were called out on a rotation and the standard charge for the rotation is $110. Nothing was mentioned to me at the time the vehicle was towed that such a charge would be added to my bill. I find out that because the police department called them the charge was added. If I had called them myself, that charge would not have been added. After the way that the employee from Brown's Mill Wrecker service spoke to me, I will never use their company again, and I would recommend to anyone I know not to use their company. Since when is it acceptable for an employee to get into a shouting match with a customer. He was hateful and had a very nasty disposition over the phone.

I can tell you that I also have done business with Browns Mill for at least 3 years. But I decided not to go back there anymore. As far as the previous statements, I honestly wouldn't doubt it. Ever since that other man took Jim's place... I thought he was a womanizer. Never felt comfortable around him. I actually saw him making passes at some women that deliverd parts. He was taking pictures of her. And the way they were acting, shouldnt be in a place of business. I decided then I wouldn't do business there anymore. I hope they can get that place turned around. As far as the work on my vehicles, never had a problem. But I don't do business with people that I couldnt trust sending my wife or daughter.

the best by far in the johnson city area. they will try to help you any way they can. if your are unhappy with these guys then you just want to complain.

Totally untrue statements about this company. Been a customer for years, and will be for many more. I send my wife all the time, no problems what-so-ever!

AAA dispatched Browns Mill Towing Service to come out for roadside assistance for a flat tire. Tow truck driver called and said he was on his way. One and and half hour later no tow truck driver. When trying to call him back on the number that he called on all that happened was a recording saying that the number was not a working number. AAA was called a second time and connected me to the towing dispatcher who said that the driver went to the wrong location and blamed that on AAA but said that the tow truck driver would be there within 15 minutes. It was explained to the dispatcher that after we had waited that long with the vehicle running that the gas tank was almost empty, in 20 degree weather with snow falling. Upon arrival, the tow truck driver said that he would not get out of the truck because it was too cold and he also stated that he could not assist because his air tanks had no air in them and he had no gas.
