Creative Concepts is not a production taxidermy shop. We do not use commercial forms; we alter and sculpt each piece so that they are original works of art as our paintings are. Each animal is altered to enhance the animal's best features and anatomical accuracy. When altering a form, I draw the skeleton structure on the form to use as a guide in altering the form, the same way a physician uses an x-ray to set an arm. All of this takes an enormous amount of time, thought and artistic ability. At Creative Concepts, I put three times as much work on each mount as a commercial taxidermy shop does, yet my prices are not much more. I Go One Step Further? When mounting the animal, I put emphasis on symmetry, detail and anatomical accuracy. I use only the best materials which include custom cast parts, tanning, the best crystal eyes and custom forms. All habitats are custom made and all rocks are made by hand from a special mix, which is custom made to match the terrain, where your trophy was taken. All of that is then put on a structure, which I sculpt to accent the over-all piece. To assure that your trophy is handled and prepared properly, I can send shipping tags.
