E Trade is a mediocre trading company so i do not use them any longer, however i still use them for banking on a small scale. They make one mistake after another and i wonder why i still use them for auto deposits and small things. Today, however took the proverbial cake. At another institution i used my Etrade card and withdrew $500, yet Etrade debited 1,000. The branch manager of Chase spent nearly one hour on the phone with a very combative, arrogant and inexperienced (he said he was a supervisor for a few months, but i doubt even that) He kept ising the phrase "unfortunately" and was absolutely unprofessional, deceitful and dishonest. I still have not recieved my $500 back, or any forms they were supposed to email me. The most disgusting thing about him was not even his lies but refusal to give me corporate office information which i had to find myself and now start dealing with them. I have proof that Chase never gave me the funds. and the manager if Chase told them but Etrade as usual just gives the run around as they do with everything. I regret knowing for years how bad they are and being too lazy to set up my auto deposits with another bank but i will after this is resolved and hope never to hear the name Etrade mentioned again.
