I don't know this company but maybe I can help you understand. From reading your post, your compressor would have been under warranty through the manufacturer and not the contractor who installed it. Yes he could have gone to a parts house and gotten it, but he would have to eat the cost and hope the manufacturer paid him back. If the contractor did this for all of his customers he or she would go out of business. The contractor has to follow the manufacturer guide lines or else the warranty is no longer valid. By the way the manufacturers generally do not reimburse the contractor for the labor or fuel fees, this would be why you were charged or else the contractor is doing it for free. Seems a bit overboard on your part to blame the contractor for the manufacturers warranty guide lines and trying to make a living.

Doug is great, completely professional, Came out on a Sunday trying to add more life to our ancient system. Had to replace because the compressor was dead. By noon on Tuesday the new system was in and the price was right.

Think twice before calling this company, our system is 14 months old and they have been out here 7 times to repair this system and its still broke.They said the compressor was bad and said the part was under warranty but he had to order it.He made us wait 8 days with no air,when in fact they could of went to there supply store in town and got a replacement. They charged us 325.00 for 1.5 hrs. labor to install.Now three weeks later it is broke again ,but this time they say it is the fan and we would be charged again.Every time we have called this company they make us wait for at least two or three days before coming out
