The food is great and so is the service, but: we were there on August 7, 2019 for a birthday celebration and one of the AC units in the building was not working and it was very warm and uncomfortable. We actually had to move all 12 of us to another location within the restaurant and under a fan to be semi comfortable. The bathrooms were extremely hot. The waitresses were perspiring and I can't image what the cook station felt like. On waitress told us that people are not coming anymore due to the heat situation in the restaurant. Please resolve this issue or we will not be returning to Shoney's in Jennings.

Well this review I'll leave is a bit conflicted. The food is good. Normally the staff there is very nice & helpful. However one time last year a lady that brought out the food in the kitchen fussed a a customer who was at the buffet. He dropped a piece of fried chicken on the bar & picked it up with his hand. She chewed him out about it. She then started talking bad about him with some other customers at the next table over while unloading the food. Just unprofessional behavior. But all the servers I get there are nice & the man that's at the front desk has always been hospitable too. It was that one woman in the kitchen I saw be unprofessional sometime last year.
