Made a request in early November for my Declarations Page, Policy and a Quote to lower a deductible - was told by the assistant in the office she was new and I would get info the following day. The next day she sent 1 of the 3 items I request, I replied by email asking for the rest of the information and never got a reply.



Added my spouse to my policy and provided his information to Connie when I replaced my vehicle on my policy and was "non-renewed" by American Family. When I called Connie she told me it wasn't anything to be concerned about (really?!) and she would look into and she advised me to call back that evening or the next day. I called that evening and was told by the assistant she was on a call and would call me back. Surprisingly, she didn't call me back. The following day I had to call back and was told by Connie that the night before she had been in a meeting- oddly different from what her assistant had to say, and she told me she was with a client and would call me back. (Am I not a client too? One with an issue?!) Three hours later I had to call her back and my call was ignored. So, I called corporate office and after corporate called her office is when Connie became concerned and attempted to call me back. Corporate fixed my problem- not Connie. American Family has since rescinded their notice and I will be continuing my association with this company.



However, Corporate informed me that she did not provide my spouse's information at the inception- added him incorrectly and had managed to completely screw up my policy. My Property Damage limits are way off from what my Bodily Injury (like not allowed in GA limits) as well as my Uninsured Motorist coverage being wrong. She also quoted me a home owner's deductible not allowed in Georgia.



As of today I have dropped Connie as an agent- she had multiple opportunities to help me but is obviously incapable of handling the business I was giving her. Overall, I would say having to ask an agent for something more than once is ridiculous. And I wouldn't waste my time or money with agency.
