When moving to Brunswick area in 2004, Jefferson Vet. Hosp. has been my primary source for my pets. Dr. Aholt & Dr. Megan have always been there to give my pets their utmost attention, the staff as well. When walking into either office one feels the love and compassion that everyone has for your pet. My puppy and cat both get terrific treatment from the staff and the Vets. I have been told that there are less costly places to take my babies to, but I feel you get what you pay for. Cost is not the option, the care and concern my babies receive is always top quality. When an emergency arose for my pup, they took her in right away and kept me informed on her condition, and afterwards I was contacted to see how she was doing. I also get plenty of warning when an appointment is needed for either one, even Birthday cards for them, how cool is that. The entire staff is terrific, the quality of care is outstanding one is totally at ease knowing that your babies are in capable hands.

Dr. Ahalt was recommended to me by a friend who drives 45 mins out of her way to come to this hospital, and I am glad that she did. Dr. Ahalt is very friendly and personable and takes his time to listen to any of my (often stupid sounding) questions and is clear and concise in his answers. He has a sense of humor and is down to earth, but sensitive when things are not going well (he euthanized my sick elderly dog and was compassionate and understanding). I always feel my dogs and cats are in good hands here and trust Dr. Ahalt and the staff with them. I have paged Dr. Ahalt out of hours and he helped me over the phone and saved me $$$$$ in emergency hospital visits. The rates are excellent and the service offered is great. I highly recommend this veterinarian!
