Donita's assisted us with a small Do-It-Yourself Wedding. Misty gave us great ideas, generously loaned vases, lanterns, flowers, burlap, and lace. We had great materials to work with and created a lovely space for a wedding and reception. We did leave the cake to the professionals....and Donita's cakes are wonderful! The Mango Sauce they made as a side to top the cake slices was amazing! The cake was a three tier, with a cheesecake bottom layer, a traditional middle layer with berry filling, and a topper layer for the bride and groom to keep. Something for everyone in a single cake...BRILLANT!!!!All in all...Misty and the staff of Donita's let us do it our way. We were able to use tips and materials from the pros, but the talents of our own family and friends to make the day extra special.

I have used Donita's numerous times all have been fantastic. Donita's is family owned so I have gotten to know the owners along with other staff they are all friendly some more than others. They go the extra mile to make sure I am taken care of it is a shame more of their customers don't write reviews because I know Donita's is always busy. But then again, I fall into that catagory I have had at least 20 catered events but just now posting a review. Great job guys! For anyone reading book them if you can!

Just got a cake from Donita's the service was great they even carried it out to my car.The cake was moist and most importantly it was exactly what we ordered. I would highly recommend them. I did find it was good to call but browsing photos on facebook made things so much easier to see just what they were capable of. I contacted them after browsing with a photo via email. I didn't know there were so many possibilities. They are reasonable with pricing and easy to work with. Great job!

Went to donita's because a friend said they were so good. Ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. Showed her the picture in the book of what II wanted but I wanted a different color of frosting and the size of the cake different. what I got was a white frosted cake with bites of color on it and I ordered filling for the cake and got a thin line through the center. The cake tasted nasty and I was so disappointed, will not ever go there again.

They have one of the dirtiest kitchens around and they have a really crappy attitude to boot. The only thing they are serving up is nasty food made by less than nice people!

Our son got married this past Saturday (Jan. 2, 2010). We had Donita's cater the rehearsal dinner and we had a lot of compliments. The food was delicious and the staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Donita's also made the wedding cake and the guests said it was delicious and it was absolutely gorgeous. Very nicely done. I would highly recommend Donita's for all your catering needs. We had our wedding and reception at Truman Hotel and conference rooms though.

When I first went into Donitas they made them selves sound so great. They told me that whatever decorations I wanted it wouldnt be any extra cost, they would just buy and use it from then on in other weddings. When it came down to it and they had my $500 deposit to save the date it all went down hill form there. I asked them to put up a decorative peice of cloth around the door way so it would make like an arch and she wanted to charge me $200 and they already had the cloth to do it. That is ridiculous.I order a cake for my birthday so I could taste some flavors before I decided on my wedding cake flavors and my entire birthday cake was caved in in the middle.The place smells and is really dirty. If it wasnt already to late I would turn back now but I cant. I wouldnt recommened this hall to anyone. You can do so much better.
