I've looked for a decent auto repair place in the area for a very long time. I decided to come here because I heard it was under new management, and what a good decision that was!

My car was making some very unhappy noises after starting, so I came here for a diagnosis. Not 10 minutes later, the owner Jacob (who does a lot of the work with the other mechanics) came up to me and told me straight that the alternator was failing and even took me under the hood to show me where the problems were. I was expecting to spend about $400 on a new one (a friend of mine just had his replaced). He gave me a quote for $250! So I told him to do it and he said he'd have it ready in a couple of days.



I got a call the next day saying my car was ready to go. I was amazed at the prompt service, price, and professionalism of everyone there. When I went to pick it up, he told me that I also had a leaking valve cover gasket and that I was losing oil very slowly. He said that a job like that would take a little bit longer so I should do it when I had the time to return. He didn't push me, he didn't bully me, and he was completely honest. That's rare to find in a lot of NYC mechanics.



I recommend everyone to come here and get their car repaired. He also told me that he's going to be opening his body shop here in the Spring (2013)
