MacMurray College provides a variety of educational and enrichment programs to students. Its business department provides courses in business administration, accounting and sport management. The college offers teacher preparation programs that include courses in physical, and elementary and secondary education programms. MacMurray College s deaf and hard of hearing education department provides classes in sign language, and speech reading and auditory training and is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education. The college s curriculum also includes classes in art, biology, chemistry, criminal justice, interdisciplinary studies, philosophy and religion, and history and political science. Additionally, it has a library that has a collection of more than 120,000 book volumes and over 200 periodicals. MacMurray College is located in Jacksonville, Ill.
