I paid for glasses that were never ordered. I could get no information from the employees, other than "it's still at the lab." Then, after many phone calls and hold time, someone finally contacted "the lab" to supposedly be told that the script had been "sent to another lab." No one could track them,and the lab bizarrely didn't have any record of their wherabouts.
The optical store manager was on permanent vacation, and no one would return my calls. I finally called Wal Mart store assistant manager, who promised to look into it, and who also never called me back. They refused to refund my money over the phone, so I had to make a trip back to the store to get money back for glasses that never were ordered.
This whole event took over three weeks, and had a surreal, nightmare quality to it. I felt like I was talking to robots. No one was remotely concerned that I gave the store nearly $100.00 for literally nothing.
It's fraud for stores to steal from customers.
