I moved to the Westside about a year ago. Had always had the same mechanic at the Beaches so this was unnerving to me. First time I met Leo and Billy I was really shocked. Mechanics like this I thought were a myth, much like unicorns. They carry excellent used tires for $30, awesome oil changes for $20 and if you are a woman these are the gentlemen you need to speak to. I came in one day after getting a tire and noticed my car doing something weird. Leo took 45 minutes out of his day to help me out and get it right, at NO charge. I accidentally put the wrong fluid in my steering and was flipping out. The one place I called said it was horrible and my car being fixed would be a lot of money. Hysterical really when it's $90 to flush the system and put the correct fluid in. Prepared for the payment and arrived at Tire Maxx, came back and was told they aren't going to charge me because what they need to fix will run $270 and they know times are hard. I brought it back to them yesterday and let them fix it. Runs tight, steering is on point. If you are a woman on this side of town I BEG YOU, do not go to Firestone come to see Leo and Billy. Leo is the owner and is usually on site. Unheard of these days. Some might get the idea that it's a little run down and smells like oil, but that's my favorite part. If I walk into a shop and it's too clean, no, I'll run. Can't say enough good about these guys and any chance I get to use them again I will. Even coming from the Northside.
