My wife and I stayed at the Third and Main Apartments for two months while I was being treated for prostate cancer at the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute (UF PTI) that is located about one mile away. Our apartment had one bedroom and a den. One and two bedroom apartments are available. Many of their apartments are occupied by UF PTI patients and the staff provide a variety of special services such as weekly social gatherings and visits to nearby restaurants. A very nice restaurant is located on the property and it is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The apartments are about ten years old and are in excellent condition. The staff coordinate their activities with the UF PTI and were very attentive to our needs. They help create a sense of family among the residents. The price of the apartments is reasonable. We recommend Third and Main Apartments highly especially for extended stays of a month or two.

We are a local short-term housing apartment community. All of our suites are fully furnished with flat screen TV’s, cable, WIFI and Ethernet access. All utilities are included, water, electric, garbage and sewage. We have fully furnished one and two bedroom apartments. All of the apartments have queen sized beds in the bedroom and sleeper sofas in the living room. The units with the den also offer a day bed (twin sized) in the den. Full-sized appliances and a fully stocked kitchen with cookware and dishes. There are also washers and dryers in each unit. We have a Gym and a Meeting Center on property as well an on-site restaurant. The complex is fully gated including parking, picnic and grilling area as well as dog walk. Just minutes from downtown our convenient location is perfect for someone on the go.
