My home had a horrible maze of inefficient, poorly constructed ductwork that had the downstairs cold and the upstairs red hot. My install with Paul and his expert experienced crew was the best install I have ever seen and I have had 3 different homes and seen it all when it comes to Air Conditioning install crews.
This Snyder install team was the best, and fixed all my duct problems even though it took them extra time and effort and installed a new system that works GREAT. You want cool - I got cool now, thanks to Paul's conscientious dedication to quality and Snyder Air Conditioning. And how about the warranty?? How about 10 Years parts and labor !!
Yes - you read that right - TEN Years !! TEN !!!
These crews do not have an easy job, hot attics, humid weather and cramped conditions but they are ALL very nice and when they left I really missed them. They all get along with each other, they are very respectful of your home, are extremely friendly, very responsible and do real quality work - come on, what more could you ever want ??
Hire Snyder and be done with air conditioning problems. Be Cool !

I have been a loyal customer for some time but sadly no longer a happy customer. Two Maintenance cycles ago (right before I had visitors arriving the next day) the maintenance tech tells me I'm 3lbs low on Freon and I need to pay to get the system sniffed for a leak. I stated that I had no cooling issues or higher than normal JEA bills. Anyway,I asked him to put in the 3lbs of Freon to hold me over until my guests left. After my guests left 5 days later I called Snyder up to start the repairs. A different tech came out and tells me that I'm over by 3lbs of Freon. In fairness Snyder did refund me the cost of the Freon install and the tech stated my system was in good shape. That situation left me with concerns about possible damage by the Freon overcharge in the system.
Yesterday the tech came out to do the spring maintenance check and he tells me that I'm 3lbs of Freon low and the Snyder installed surge protector was put on my neighbors outside unit (Town Home) and not mine that I paid for. I said I went through this 3lbs low thing last time. He said he knows because he read my history before coming out. I asked him if he was sure about the incorrect location install because it was installed over a year ago by Snyder. None of the other bi-annual maintenance techs have mentioned this. Also I mentioned that I have no cooling issues or higher than normal JEA bills. He still stated it was on the wrong unit and I'm 3lbs of Freon under. He said it would be 1/3rd to 1/2 of the cost of a new system to correct everything. He pushed that I get a new system and he wrote up a quote for 6200 dollars. I said thanks and I would think about my plan of attack and I would call back letting Snyder how I wanted to proceed. After thinking this doesn't make sense, I called another local AC company to get a second opinion. I didn't tell them anything about what Mike said he had found. They said my system was running perfectly and I'm spot on for the Freon levels.. I asked them about the surge protector and they confirmed it was installed on my outside unit. I'm so tired of the lack consistency at my financial expense. I sadly can no longer trust Snyder’s techs and it is a shame I had to pay 90 bucks to save me from spending 6200.00 unnecessarily.

Our ac died in late October, called them because a neighbor works for them. Bought the top of the line unit, $7k, two weeks later the unit stopped working and it has been a nightmare since then. They have been replacong parts here and there and the last time their employee installed parts and ended up losing up a drain pipe. This made my upstairs flood and the water leaked through the floors, down to my first floor. The floors and walls were wet for days before I realized it. Their customer service has been dismal. Stay away from this company, they will come and take your money but that's the extent of where their efficiency stops.

We had a local air conditioning company here (beaches) after our air died 2 weeks ago and they said we needed a whole new unit so $5500-$6500 depending on the quality we wanted, we decided to get a second opinion and that same day a flyer came in the mail so we called and they came out first thing the next morning. He guaranteed that we did not need a whole new unit and in fact it was just a weld job and freon recharge so under $700, needless to say we were happy with that. Then later that week our upstairs neighbors air went out and they called Snyder on our recommendation and asked for Chris too, their repair was a small part with the total repair of $200. Appreciated the honesty.

I purchased a maintinence agreement about a year and a half ago. The tech I always ask for is Micheal Sarka. He's got me a discout from JEA. He shows up when he is scheduled, and if something needs replaced, he'll show you the readings to back it up. He's made me a repeat customer.

I purchased the Service Agreement from Synder for 2011. The first time they came out in March, I agreed to the recommended repairs with out questioning the cost. They came out today for the Fall service. This time they recommened $700 worth of changes. When I told them I did not have the money for the repairs, a call was made and the charges were dropped to $545. Make sure to haggle over the price!
Overall, I had a good experience with the company but I think they are over priced.

Put in a service call at 8:30 in the morning and was told I would receive a call back shortly. A couple of hours passed, so I called back again and was told Tim would be calling me soon. At 1 p.m. got a call from Tim who had been leaving messages for the wrong phone number. NO apologies, NO we'll hurry up and get someone over to you. I was given another 3 hours to wait. Needless to say, I canceled the service call and found another company to do business with.

Try to avoid them. My expereicen is they don't get the job done from a single visit and they keep on charging service fee. The technician told me that they have to make a living.

Our system stopped cooling overnight 6/17/11 and afer I called the next morning, David H. was out 3 hours later. Weekend rates were fairly reasonable and he was finished replacing the part and checking the system in about an hour.
The problem was such a simple replacement I wish I could have done it myself, but now I know where to look first. David suggested a thorough cleaning service but wasn't pushy about it, explained the invoice, and made some DIY maintenance suggestions. All things considered, very pleased and will again with future needs.

I would recommend Snyder Heating & Air. We had our service performed on 4/29/11 by Mike Sarka. He arrived early and was courteous and professional.
We have used Snyder to maintain our AC units for years and have not had any issues.

I highly recommend Snyder for your heating and air conditioning needs. I've always seen their commercials and heard from friends that they do great work, but now I know it for myself. Not only did the service representative, Mike Sarka, give me a huge discount on my bill without me asking first, give me an entirely free service call without me asking first, but after a small piece of a faucet outside of my house broke while he was here, he called someone out to my house to fix it immediately. He gave us great customer service and explained every issue in detail with us. I will definitely be using Snyder and Mike Sarka for all of my future business.

They installed an Amana Unit not even 2 years ago and yet again it is not working, over a dozen service calls and we still don't have a reliiable heat pump system. Every time they are here they have another excuse why it isn't working correctly. The technicians contradict each other and always try to blame it on us or something else we have to do. The best comment was the techniician who said we should only expect the unit to drop the inside temp by 10 degrees, this is the sort of craziness we have been having to deal with over the last 2 years. This will be 2 visits this week, ,oh and they replaced the outside unit once and the coils on the inside unit and it was installed brand new. Beyond aggravating.

Snyder is awesome. We have had them out 2 times already and for the AC unit we have they have the lowest prices for the parts. Ya it takes them a while to get the parts in some times but that is understandable considering our unit is so old. The technicians that come out are very friendly and respectable all the time. They even joke around and have fun with my 3 year old who loves to ask them questions about what they are doing, and they will explain it to him even though he might not understand fully. If it weren't for Snyder I would not have a working AC unit. Thank you guys very much!!!
