Very satisfied with Shapell's. The office crew is very friendly, professional, and informative. Their company always provides great service anytime you need them. The drivers are also wonderful!! I would highly recommend using Shapell's for any disposal needs! Hands down the best roll off company in Jacksonville!

We used Shapells while remodeling our house. They delivered in a reasonable time frame, nut the problems started with when we requested pick-up. They kept saying they had some on the way each time we called. No one ever showed. I finally called and told them to get the roll-off out of my drive way before I have to call someone else to pick it up. It was at our home in the drive for 8 days after they originally stated they would pick it up. A few weeks later we received our deposit check for the difference . As I stated earlier, we were in the middle of a remodel. The check was tossed in with a bunch of other paperwork to be sorted out later. We cashed the check a few weeks ago, only for it to bounce and receive a bounce check fee from our bank. After calling and speaking with Shapells twice last week and one this morning, they have stated "it's not our fault you took so long to cash the check. We changed accounts." They stated they would reissue the check the fee was my fault. Seriously. This last call was the worst, same conversation, only this time they asked for my name and I give it to them, at which point she told me that they would be reissuing the check without the bounced check fee and there is nothing I can do about it now and hung up on me. This is a shady business, stay clear. There are plenty of other roll-off companies in Jacksonville to go with.

After calling and setting up my rental, I should have immediately seen the red flags. First, what I was told on the phone and what I signed on the contract were different, when I asked the driver, he said, 'well, whatever they said on the phone is good.' Secondly, I was told pricing over the phone when setting up my rental, then, when I called to have the dumpster emptied, was told another, higher price. After calling to have the unit swapped, I got a call from the driver saying they needed money from me and to call the office. I did and was passed around on the phone when I told them that I was told different on the pricing when I set it up, and received no concern for my situation. I told them to pick it up and not deliver a replacement.
