Tonight was my first time ever going to Serenity Nail & Spa, and is absolutely my last. I received a pedicure and fill.



When we first started the pedicure my friend and I stuck our feet into ice cold water, and when we both asked politely if it could be made a little hotter were told "it will come". So after a few minutes warmer water indeed did come, but our tubs were already full of colder water.. Causing us to sit there with lukewarm water. (We asked multiple times for warmer water please).



There was something wrong with the tub I was using and it kept randomly draining (bring on more cold water) and then squired water at me multiple times (causing my capris to get wet)



After my fill (where I asked to take a break because I was nicked multiple times and started bleeding) I went to check out and was told $51. I asked if this includes the $2 that was on the menu when I chose my services she told me the two dollars off was only for pedicure and manicure not fill. I then pointed to the menu where it said "$2 off with pedicure and manicure/ fill.



( Minutes earlier my friend attempted to receive the $2 off with a pedicure and manicure and was told it was just with the fill. )



The went outside and asked the manager about the $2 off and she had no idea about it, so I brought her the menu and after some convincing she agreed. She then ran my card and when I asked what my total was she said $51! I said "I don't understand that was the total before the $2 off, she kept her head down and handed me a pen to sign with, never saying another word to me.



I would never go to Serenity again, I tried it because of the great reviews of it being a clean salon (it was mediocre).. Don't be fooled yall!

Kim and the older lady are the only ones who can do SNS nails correctly. I got stuck with some guy who did a gel set on me (Kim wasn't there that day & I was about to leave the country), & they were starting to pull up the NEXT morning! The nails weren't even in length, crooked, the gel was all over my cuticles, they looked terrible!!! He ripped off a press on nail on my middle finger, which ripped skin off and made my finger bleed SO bad, THEN he blamed ME for it!!! He sat in a booth where there was someone else's beauty license posted - he probably doesn't even HAVE one! Be careful if you do decide to go here! Ask to see their license if they're in a booth with someone else's posted! Better yet, don't even waste your time - Venetian Nail Spa is directly down the street & has better service - go there!
