In a world where it feels like people want you to buy a new car when you bring your car for an oil change it is a treat to find an old fashion repair shop where the owner is behind the counter and has greasy hands!



I brought them my 5.5KW generator from which I saw black smoke coming from when I accidentally turned the power back on without disconnecting the generator first. I was expecting $100’s of $ repair. Instead, I was charged $10.00 for the “whatever it was” be demagnetized.



After that I bought a chain saw from Rick . . . not the brand I would have but the one he recommended. I had it repaired a couple of times . . . once at no charge because “it should have not broken”. I was blown away . . . and looking around for a hidden camera. But nope, they are just honest, hard working, good people.



It’s a bit of a drive for me as I live in Fernandina, but you know what? Worth every mile and every penny.



I hope he never retires or that he will have passed his ethics on to his kids.



Again . . . I am just amazed . . . and as weird as this may sound . . . I don’t mind spending money in repair anymore because I know that it is well, well spent.
