Crime to humanity

Not only was this a horrible nail salon but it was by far the worst establishment that I have ever been too. Completely unprofessional; from the manager to the selection of nail polish. It honestly boggles my mind how they are still in business and have clients coming in. I have never taken the time to write a review but I'm in just such shock and disbelief that a business such as Parisian Nail and Massage Spa exists! I have never felt so angry, uncomfortable, confused, just simply in utter disbelief of what I experienced. It was as thou a child put this salon together and hired the most disgusting (when I say disgusting I don't mean outside appearance) manger on earth! She is unbelievable rude and unbelievable unprofessional. She snaps at the employees in front of the clients and verbally degrades them as if she was royalty and they were her servants. The way this business operates-with the belittling manager, lack of nail polish (I mean literally every bottle was practically empty), and complete discomfort (the manager is horrible-I mean a angry person) continues to amaze me that it is still operating. I honestly feel that it is a crime to humanity and just simply for the human race that such a person could be put in charge of an establishment where people pay money to relax. The owner needs to reassess her judgement on who she hires because from what i saw it was abuse and it was really disheartening to see.

Friendly staff TERRIBLE SERVICE

The receptionist, which was also a manicurist was initially not friendly or polite. She kept complaining about how busy they have been and was appeared stressed and did not hide it. She was rushed. I had an appointment yet had to wait about 30 additional minutes for service.

The staff was friendly but the service was terrible and the place was not as expected.

The manicurist I got did not offer me a drink even though the manicurist next to me offered a drink to her client which ordered the same service.

The manicurist was either unexperienced or lazy. I had to remind the manicurist twice to use a clear primer on my nails. I also had to remind the manicurist about providing me the parifin treatment. I was not offered the callulous removal either. Which the manicurist did the parifin treatment only after being reminded three times and finally provided the parifin after the nail polish. This of course ruined the nail polish and the manicurist had to do it again. The manicurist then painted the nail polish on thick which caused it to smudge and look aweful. The manicurist had to redo the nails twice because of this. I finally had to say "just leave it like it is" in order to get out of there! That was highly unacceptable and a waste of my time. The stone massage was quick and very poor. Not as pictured on the website nor as described.

The massage chairs were torn and in fair conditions.

The spa did not have a spa enviorment. The manicurist was unprofessional, did not provide full service or attentions. The spa was more like a hole in the wall salon. The place was not kept up very well and there was heavy dust on the lamps and the fixtures. The service was rushed, incomplete and poor.

Was a waste of money, polish smudged even after several sessions under the dryer. One side of the dryer table did not have lights and there was only one fan dryer that I had to wait for. The manicure polish was terrible and the pedicure did not last a few hours before it began chipping.

NOT worth the time or money, Will not return.

People of Arlington deserve a nice place to go and here it is Parisian!! It's clean, nice, inviting...friendly...We should support our local area businesses..don't fight the traffic to get there..forget TownCenter..overrated..this place is quaint and I just love it...I'm not greeted with..."Pick your color!" I'm greeted with "Bonjour!" How are you!" I want to go to a place where I know that the folks are legally licensed...don't you. If they can't speak English, how did they get their license..hmm..Me..I want to the folks to know what they are doing...don't you? It's nice..and pleasant...and you leave feeling special...

Rude Stylists and Owner

I would not recommend this Salon to anyone! The owner only cares about money and the people are fake!! I definitely would not go back to that place.

Wonderful! What a surprise! Not your typical cookie-cutter, not-inviting, not-exciting place like the others! Great! Luxurious relaxing atmosphere! Staff top-notch. English speaking staff from all over the world so you can communicate...which is important. Very clean spa..they offer massages, nails, tanning, threading, and their hair salon is next door. I felt like a princess. I did it ALL! And all of it less than $200. Head to toe..That's right, Girls! It was great! I'm treating myself because I deserve it! And you DESERVE a place like this! Wait till you go! Very nice and I'm glad that we have a place like this..Upscale and very, very affordable! I will see you THERE!!! I loved it!

Is a $4.50 discount really worth a bad review and dissatisfied customer?

I was approached by the owner and was invited to get hair and nail services done with a 10% discount because "we're working neighbors". Although I had a gift certificate to another salon I went to parisian because of the discount. I explained the services I wanted to the girl at the front desk and told her about the owner offering me 10% off. She said "it should be no problem." The manager did my nails and gave me the bill for the full amount. I explained the 10% discount that was offered and she said "that's only on Tuesdays". I told her the owner didn't specify a specific day of the weekt and she led me to believe i would get the discount anytime because we worked in the same area (as she stated). The manager asked the owner and came back to tell me that the owner said I could get 10% monday-friday but not on weekends (needless to say this was a Saturday) because it was "too busy!" The way I see it, the owner should have come up to me and apologized for the misunderstanding and granted me my 10% ($4.50). I find it very rude that she is going to advertise her services and offer a discount but then throw in stipulations AFTER my service is completed! Initially I was ONE dissatified customer but I am sure to tell all my friends, family, co-workers, and so on about my experience to ensure they are not lied into a discount also!

Wow! It's no problem for $4.50 discount...my staff follow the rules and they didn't know I offered a discount to you. It's no problem at all for the $4.50. If I told you that then I stand by my word. Obviously, you didn't ask for the owner. I'm a registered nurse...we are honest, good people! You did not give me a chance to do anything. My staff just followed the rules. I bent the rules for you to give you a discount and they didn't know. You went straight to complain. If it's rude when it's a misunderstanding...what do you call what you have done. You give us zero chance of making it right...and you run and bad mouth. I offered you a true, genuine kind gesture and you turn it into something hateful! How can any one do anything if you don't let us know. Did you tell me the owner, that my staff didn't realize the misunderstanding...because I'm the owner, I offered that to you outside of our standard discount. They just followed the rules...that's all. I'm not rude..I genuinely offered that to you and I'm sorry that you could not call me rather than to write a note in the super pages. I hope it made your day! We are good, hard working, honest folks..and if you are discount hopping...then...we aren't for you..we provide quality service, upmost sanitation, and friendly atmosphere. But, you didn't say that. No...just mad about $4.50. Come by..I'm ready to give it back to you and apologize for the misunderstanding. And what about YOU???

Made our day way better!

After going through a very dissatisfying experience at Natural Body Spa, we decided to take our business to Parisian Nail Spa. We were recommended through a relative/friend who raved on and on about the cleanliness of the place, and excellence of the products and services. We were highly satisfied and had a way better experience there than any other nail salon we’ve been to. We were able to enjoy ourselves and relax from our stressful day, for half the price we would have paid at Natural Body. We will recommend this place to everyone we know, and will definitely be back for return services.

Wonderful!

This is not your average Nail Salon! The atmosphere is so relaxing and it doesn't have that nail smell! Linda, the owner, has a medical back ground and is the queen of clean! The pedicures are incredible and they offer so many other wonderful services. They remembered my name from the first moment I stepped in the door and always make me feel welcome. You really need to give Parisan a try. You will not be disappointed!
