I was referred by my primary for a cyst I&D and then full excision. When I read the financial and arbitration agreements I flipped. They are pretty much asking you to give up your civil rights to trial by jury, they want you to leave your credit card info for them to charge whenever and for whatever reason, they ask you impertinent questions about your will, your family, etc. pursuant to billing should you die, they tell you that once you sign they have the right to change the agreements with no further action on your part... I sent to a lawyer and she told me that her advice is for me to look for an alternate treatment venue. She actually found additional legal issues with the agreements. It is shameful how the medical profession is turning into piracy. They hold your well-being hostage in this way. How is this different from racketeering? Anyway. I cancelled and looked for service somewhere else.
