MinuteClinic JACKSONVILLE, located inside CVS/pharmacy #3648 at 3634 ROGERO RD, is a walk-in medical clinic. Services include routine vaccinations, health screenings, minor wound and injury treatment, physicals and more-- with no appointment needed. Our family nurse practitioners and physician assistants provide services for both adults and children, 18 months and older. MinuteClinic accepts most insurance plans and cash, checks, and credit cards.

TLDR - MINUTECLINIC'S BEHIND-THE-SCENES COMPETITIVE INEPTITUDE IS COSTING ME TO GO DAYS WITHOUT MY MEDICATION UNLESS I PAY $200+ FOR A BRANDED MEDICINE

I was prescribed a medicine 9/16/21, the generic one of which I requested at the pharmacy counter (costs 200 so I request the generic version). Neither are available. So I try Walmart who in their own right screw up a delivery order for me to pick up on 9/17/21. Upon reaching Walgreens I am informed there's no generic version of my prescribed medicine.

Now I can't reach the same doctor who prescribed me the medicine because she's understandably busy with patients and the CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE KEEPS SCREWING UP MY REQUEST TO DULY FORWARD A SIMPLE MESSAGE TO MY PRESCRIBER.

It's been a day and a half since I received the prescription but no medicine.

Not to mention having to resort to third party organizations like GoodRx to get a simple medicine defeats the purpose altogether of streamlining your services.
