TERRIBLE!!!!! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! I asked the bartender by the name is Liz (Elizabeth) for a beer. she asked me what the name of my tab was, I told her and she said she signed me out already. I said no, no you didnt. I asked the other people in my party if any of them had signed out my card. Everyone said no. I asked her for the receipt and she gave my card away! I was explaining what happened to one of the people I was with, and she then cursed me out. calling me the B word, telling me to Shut the F*ck up. I told her she was unprofessional and I wanted to speak with management. She then told me I was "lucky" that I was on the other side of the bar. Then she told me she would have me banned! Meanwhile, the Bouncer is standing next to me the entire time asking her to walk away. I asked to speak to management, who brought out one gentleman that I believe was the floor manager who was very kind. He brought out his manager, (or so they claimed) by the name of Frank Maloney. He was completely drunk! Eyes glossed over slurred speech the whole nine!!! He brought me in the back to discuss the matter and said that his bartender wanted to apologize. I said for what exactly, I want her to explain what she said. She admitted in front of 3 different people that she threatened me!! I was absolutely appauled. APPAULED. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR. They then laughed and said "this isnt a professional place! NO ONE IS PROFESSIONAL IN A BAR!" The bouncer apologized to my entire group who witnessed her threatening me and was shocked by my composure during the entire situation. I would UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE COME BACK TO THIS BAR! They hang your card to different customers, dont apologize, management is drunk themselves, employees threatening you and multiple people being unprofessional!



DO NOT EVER EVER EVER EVER GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!! DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR!



Go if you want to have your card stolen, be disrespected threatened and felt that your business truly wasnt wanted. This is absolutely the place for you. If you want somewhere thats classy with good music and great staff, GO ANYWHERE ELSE but this place! That Bartender is the definition of Jacksonville WHITE TRASH.



Go to Whiskey River, Liquid or anywhere other then that trashy establishment. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PATIENCE!!!!

So after a great dinner in the Tinseltown area, my date and I decide to go to Mavericks at the Jacksonville Landing for some dancing. It was OK when we first got there, but the drinks were way overpriced. I went to the restroom, set my drink down to wash my hands, turned around to tip the bathroom attendant and someone swiped my full drink (a double I paid $18 for) and left their watered-down almost empty drink for me (gee thanks). So I talk to the bartender, explained what happened, and after spending almost $60 in there, they weren't even willing to replace my drink. I didn't cause a scene, say anything ugly... nothing - I just (foolishly) bought another double ($18) and went on with my evening. Sometime later I went to light a cigarette and discovered someone had swiped my lighter off the bar (what is it with people?!)... so I ask this girl next to me for a light. To my surprise, her l e s b i a n girlfriend returning from the bathroom (a stout woman, if you can call her that, with short spiky hair, bad complexion and dressed like a gangsta wanna be) got in my face, shouting obscenities, shoved me and told me to leave her girlfriend alone. In my shock, I said that I only asked her for a light. By the time I tried to make my point a second time, and been shoved a second time, a bouncer entered the scene and told ME it was time to leave. If you're looking for a place to robbed blind (by their drink prices and their patrons), assaulted by b u l l d y k e s, then kicked out for no reason, this is the place to go. I know I'll never set foot in that place again.
