The BEST Steakhouse in Jacksonville. The drawback from being this good, the long wait time. The food and service could not be better. The mood is really good, I personally could do with a little less people (customers).

On Friday Feduary 6, my family and I (a party of ten) call Longhorns at the airport in Jacksonville fl. To do a call ahead, so at 6:59 pm we called the person told us to wait at our house for 30 -45 mins and then come up there so we don't have to wait so long that it would be about 30 minute wait once we got there. So as we sit at Longhorns waiting for our table, we had parties of 5 to 7 come in and put their names on the list. They were told it would be 20 minutes and they were sat before us. Now I remind you we called ahead, so they were getting seated before us. When we would ask the host she would say "we are waiting on that group to get up." So after 2 hours my older brother asks her why can't they put tables together to make a table for us, and you sat a party of 7 before us, when you could have sat us there and added a table. The host said they can't do that and they are waiting for that table to leave. This table had been sitting there with their checks for 30 minutes and the they had a cake brought out. With in this time we seen people who came in after us and got seated, finished and walked out in the time we were waiting. The host told us she was going to get us a manager to talk to. So after 2 hours and 10- 20 minutes we where finally seated. We were there for 5 hours total! While we were eating we did not have a manager come to our table for us to address our concerns, oh but what we did see was a young blonde headed girl not dressed in what the waiters or hosts wear, she was dressed in busness clothes and she had a what the host have in there ear and she had come out of the kitchen area. She goes and sit and flirt with 3 boy in a booth behind us along with some of the host and waitress. Now you tell me what's wrong with all of this?!? Not only will I never step in that or any Longhorns ever, and just a FYI when we do go we get 3 appiziers, salon dinner, ribs, 7 of us get steaks and chicken fingers. Also sometimes we get drinks (6 of us) so you do the math!
