A good shoe repair is hard to find anywhere in Jacksonville---they are few and far between. However, Phil Pitts has been at it since 1985, and he is a true craftsman when it comes to the art of re-soleing and repairing all types of high end boots (leather, ostrich, snake skin, etc.) as well as fine leather dress shoes. in 1985 he connected his shoe repair to his father's barber shop, King Arthur's Barber Shop (est. 1971-- originally owned and operated by Phil's Dad, (King) Arthur Pitts Jr., then located at the Arlington Expressway Mall, Publix Shopping Center)--resulting in King Arthur's Barber/ Shop Shoe Repair. When the shopping center closed it's doors in 1995, the shop moved to it's current location in the Regency Walk Shopping Center on Atlantic Blvd., across from Brumos Mercedes dealership, approximately 3/4 of a mile from Regency Mall.



Phil was raised to believe a man is known by the quality of the work he does--one of the secret's to his father's long-standing success; he has integrated this philosophy into his own work ethic--and it shows.
