My child has been punched in the stomach twice by the same child over a 2 month period of time. She has witnessed this same child sticking up his middle finger", "spitting" on her and others also using profanity! I, myself have witnessed the same student being carried from the VPK class to the office and the teacher saying "WE DO NOT HIT!!" The first time my child was hit I went to the director right away! There was NEVER an incident report handed to me when this occurred. Thankfully my child is advanced and can tell me what happened. The director told me they would take care of the issue and expressed to me that he's on a "behavioral program". Ok fine. I totally understand the kids need time to adjust. What I'm not ok with is my kid being bullied at 4 years old. My Daughter was recently punched in the stomach again for the second time a few days ago! What really baffled me was when my daughter was telling me what happened her teacher over heard and chimed in on the conversation. Again no incident report...She goes on to ask my daughter "didn't you cut the student in line?" Insinuating that was ok for him to physically punch her in the stomach! That day and the next day I spoke with the directors again and all they're telling me is that he's in a behavior program! (Same thing they said two months ago) Still, no one in that center has assured me that anything will be done. I don't think it's fair for them to drag my child along with the other students through another child's behavior program process when they're not in a behavioral class! The program consist of him basically being on watch for 10days. When he strikes after the 10 days his program starts over again! That's purely ridiculous and the way they operate at Kindercare is a joke! If you don't want your child's preschool experience to be a nightmare and safety is the #1 concern of your child DO NOT enroll your child there! They let kids psychically hit one another and just try to sweep it under the rug!
