I stopped going to this mall a few years ago because of the unbearably loud music the manager demanded be played in the store -- it was so loud you couldn't hear what anyone said, including the people at the checkout counter. However, I needed an item from housewares for my office and JC Penney was the nearest place that sold it. So I went up to the second floor, walked around through the housewares section searching for the item. I needed assistance, but did not see a single employee. Finally, after finding the item and wandering around in search of a checkout counter, I came upon four employees standing around talking and asked where I could check out. One of them directed me to the counter, where two more employees were standing around talking. I don't know who the manager is these days, but he/she needs to explain to the employees that they are paid to assist customers, not stand around and talk to each other!
