Born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, Dr. Jacob A. Plotz received his bachelor’s degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. Following his time in Gainesville, he attended the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine. Dr. Plotz believes that the human body is an intricate system of integrated processes and for optimal health and peak performance these processes need to be able to communicate unimpeded with each other. Chiropractic is the art, science, and philosophy of facilitating proper alignment to allow the body’s communication center to operate at peak capacity. The body knows what is best for itself and will maintain health when properly aligned. Dr. Plotz is skilled with Diversified and Thompson techniques, as well as muscle energy and applied kinesiology.
