First time going in from OPK. Absolutely had the best experience I could have asked for. Had been going to a place in Orange Park until they closed down. This place was super friendly, very clean and state of the art. They paid me 3x as much as anyone else. Very pleased

Bring your scrap over here, they were very nice and take the time to help me unload and even showed me how to separate my stuff to make the most money I could. I'm definitely going back as soon as I can

Honestly, this place is the cleanest scrap yard I have ever been to. The guys in the warehouse are helpful and call the manager if they can't answer my questions. Great service, the girls in the office always have smile on their faces and actually seem to like their jobs (unlike other scrapyards). They are kind of high tech with all the touchscreen computers and the cool cash dispenser. I really don't even think of it as a scrapyard, it's more like a recycling center. Other scrap yards are disorderly and dirty, I don't even want to drive my car through one. Jax metal recycling is the best is town.

This scrap yard is very inexperienced. The employees do not know how to run the computer systems. They deleted several loads of copper and steel and dumped them out in the yard before i noticed all these items were missing on my ticket for pay out.paying It took several hours to help them unload and weigh everything. I took a serious loss dealing with this company. I highly recomend you do not use this company. You need to let everyone know to stay far far away from this place if they plan to get good honest service.

Jacksonville Metal Recycling is very clean and friendly. They pay more than any one else in the city. I could not imagine going anywhere else. Drive thru service !!! Are you kidding me! The place is so awesome! Very helpful with all my questions. A place where a new scrapper can go as well as the most seasoned looking for the best cash.
