This has got to be the best place by far to bring your car. As the other comments out there say the mechanic John is awesome he will not do any unncessary work and is so honest. I have brought my car to other places that escalate their prices and this place does not do that they are very affordable. His daughter whom works with him has a great personality and is very sweet and honest as well. I to will not bring my car anywhere else and am greatful to have such a wonderful and honest mechanic to go to here in Jacksonville.

My mom and dad found this place a few years ago .... they live near by and inbetween john (the mechanic) and Lucinda (his daughter who works there) ... you cannot find more honest, better priced, and well done work. Now that i am older and married, my husband and i do not live as close, but still keep bringing any mechanical problems to him. It is worth the drive for us.... if we go to a dealership i am not sure whether to believe everything they say is wrong, as well as we are not willing to pay the dealership fees. Bottom line is that we do not go anywhere else. My parents tried mechanics all over town, and they were screwed most of the time ...

I've had my 4Runner to JG&D a few times now and I'm very happy. They are always straight forward with you and get things done when they tell you it'll be done. They may not be a dealership and have a shuttle but their prices are very fair and you won't get screwed here. Its hard to find honest auto repair at less than retail prices. I highly recommend these guys to anyone on a budget!!!
