I contacted J. David Tax Law regarding some business tax issues from my rental properties. I was impressed with their knowledge in these areas and their honesty. They provided me with practical solutions that I could afford to take advantage of. They were extremely efficient and helped me reach a settlement with the IRS to protect my interests in a reasonable amount of time. One thing that made this group stand out from my experiences with other lawyers is how much they cared and spent time explaining things to me. Since my husband passed I've been lost and highly reccommend this group for the work they did for me. Thanks Jim for all you did to facilitate my outcome.

I decided I needed a tax attorney to represent me in dealing with the IRS due to having very large prior year taxes due, even though I was current in tax return filings, and having just received notice that the IRS had cancelled a prior installment agreement and were threatening me with wage garnishment, property liens, etc. After a telephone call with J. David Tax Law, we set up a "game plan". I found my attorney to be extremely knowledgeable, and he quickly outlined my options, listened to my desires relative to my financial state, and recommended a path forward that his firm would totally manage with the IRS on my behalf. I left feeling a great weight had been taken off my shoulders. I sent backup documents to my attorney's legal assistant, provided a signed power of attorney form so they could represent me before the IRS, and was informed that a response to the IRS was in process. They contacted regularly to keep me informed of where they were in the case. Surprisingly, five weeks later I received options to settle the tax debt that I could handle. This options were drastically better than what the IRS had offered when I spoke with them. J. David Tax Law's ethical, and forthright treatment of this unique situation gave me reassurance that their reputation is justly deserved. Without hesitation I will immediately engage J. David Tax Law should the need ever arise again. Hopefully it won't but you never know. Good to have options.

He thoroughly explained the process, set expectations & options, and helped guide me to a successful outcome. I would have given J. David five stars but I thought my IRS offer in compromise would be a couple hundred dollars. It ended up being almost $900. I am not really complaining since they wiped out $19,286 that I owed to the IRS and left me paying the 900. I just did not want to pay the IRS anything since I don't think they deserve it.

They do a great job for me. I not file for many year and had not information to file 4 years of back taxes. They file back taxes and negotiate me into a settlement. Cannot be happier with how they treated me and my wife during this time they help me. Good ones this J. David.

I had several years of unfiled taxes as a realtor. I was worried that I would not be able to pay the amount owed when I did file them. I started looking into penalities for not filing taxes and was surprised to find that one of them was jail time for each year that I did not file. I had no idea. That is when I decided I had better get a tax attorney. No only did I not owe but I actually got a small refund back. J David Tax Law are a class act from start to finish. I am a business owner in a service business who ended up with a large payroll tax issue. My attorney Brad Shriver at this firm was the best. He went to war for me when the IRS was out to shut my business down. I bet I talked to Brad 40 times or more during this three month process. I have had attorneys for other things over the years, and I am not a young man, and this firm was the most effective and pleasurable that I have ever dealt with. My two cents.

My husband and I have a business and we'd gotten behind on our payroll taxes after hurricane Matthew. Our business went down and we just didn't have the money to pay the IRS and keep the business going. The IRS had seized our accounts receivable and we were all but out of business. I had no idea when I started looking for help with my tax debt that one of the main IRS processing centers for the Eastern seaboard was in my back yard. Not only that, but I found a great tax attorney who was able to do what two other organizations could not, resolve this tax matter. I cannot say enough about Jonathan and his team. My tax problem was with North Carolina and the IRS. This group of atttorneys did good work for me. I had no idea I could afford a tax attorney but my Mom did the research and found this group. I did not want anyone other than an attorney to help with my tax problem. I did not know if I could afford one but it turned out that I could and darn good ones at that. These lawyers are the best for taxes. They saved me from a garnishment and were constanly in touch with me about my case. Glad I did not go another way since I do not think I could get better.

My attorney at this firm was only able to get about 40 percent of my tax debt wiped out. I was hoping for all of it to be gone. If they could have gotten it all knocked out I'd give them 5 stars. Everyone was very professional and they constantly were following up with me keeping me in the loop. Overall they were good, but I hate paying anything to the IRS.

For anyone that reads this and was overwhelmed like I was, I can tell you that you have found the solution to your tax nightmare with this firm. They performed a miracle for my family and I. I had IRS and state tax. I had talked to some other places that deal with tax problems but they didn't want to handle my state tax issue which did not resolve my problem. From the moment I spoke to Bryan at J. David Tax Law I felt as if they were dealing with me honestly and openly. I did not get that same feeling from the others I spoke to, it felt like I was buying a used car. You could tell that these guys were real-deal lawyers. J. David Tax Law reduced my IRS debt and negotiated a payment with North Carolina that was $54 per month. Now we can go forward with our plans to buy a home. I am happy to leave a review for these lawyers. I am not one that has had many dealings with lawyers but these did a great job for me and my wife. I owed the IRS 52,000 and my wife was real sick. She was in the hospital and the IRS took every dime of our money from our bank account. I would not of thought they could do that but they did. They got all my money back and have me on track for the tax debt to go away next year. Man I appreciate it and so does my family. Thank you.

Can't say enough about the job these guys did to resolve my tax situation. I hadn't filed for many years and did not know where to start. They had all of my back taxes filed in less than three weeks and that allowed me to get the security clearance I needed for my new job. I ended up paying much less than I expected to the IRS. I am a professional in the medical field that had gotten into a tremendous amount of debt with the IRS and State of North Carolina. I was looking for an actual tax attorney to guide me through dealing with the Revenue Officer involved in my case and work out a final resolution. I had called several companies but none of them were actually a tax law firm. I did not want some glorified H & R Block, I needed seasoned pros due to my debt amount. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and how effective they were at shielding me from the IRS and getting me a great settlement. My inaction created my tax problems. Throughout the entire process this firm was never judgemental in dealing with me, instead they were always encouraging and supportive while working to resolve my tax issues. They made a very bad situation with the Georgia Department of Revenue go away in a matter of weeks and had an IRS resolution in three months. I don't know what I would of done without them.
