My doctor recently joined the staff at Integrated Pain Center on Salisbury Road, but when I read the two prior reviews on this facillity, I had a great deal of concern about that office. I had read the reviews about how rude the staff was and how small and crowded the waiting room was, so I decided to go to the office and see for myself as I was sure my doctor would not join the staff of an office that had been described in such a negative manner.
I found the extra large waiting room to be well lit, clean and inviting. I spoke with an attractive and professional young woman at the front desk and asked that my records be transferred to that office. She promptly produced the required authorization and answered any questions I had. After visiting the office and meeting the staff, I am surprised that the two previous reviews were so negative. My interaction with the office and the condition of the waiting room was quite pleasant.

IPS is the worst run doctor's office I have ever been to. I love Dr. Florete he is a great Physician. If he started his own practice again I would go and see him. But IPS is not letting him see patients now and he is only doing procedures 2 days a week. I had a problem with a bill and Kala M. yell at me to shut up and then when I spoke out, Alexander Pujol threaten me saying "You don't want to start anything with me" after the discussion was over and we were walking out the office. So needless to say I will not be going back to IPS. Also their corporate office is making them adhere to the 90mg of morphine equivalence and cutting everyone's amount of medication. So unless you are narcotic naïve, you will not get any help. This is another case of a corporation ruining a great practice . I feel so bad for Dr. Florete, Dr. Hussain, Shannon ARNP and Linda in the office. All of these people have been great in the past, I wish them all the best. But the bad actors in this office greatly over whelm the good ones.

Last year (2017), this pain management office began acting oddly. They stopped accepting credit or debit as payment and later required only cash. They actually sent us to an ATM to get cash before the doctor would see us. The front desk staff also began treating patients poorly and took to becoming argumentative. We noticed a very high turnover rate with office and medical assistants.

Fast forward to 2018 and the office has moved, at least one doctor has dropped out of the practice and things have gotten worse.

When we finally found the new location -- we received no notice they had moved and went to the old location for an appointment -- we were horrified to find that the waiting room was the size of a small bedroom and was absolutely packed with people. The staff is still incompetent in that they do not return calls and forget to enter appointments. Often, they do not notate the type of appointment. When we asked to speak with an office manager, we were treated like lepers and condescension.

A recent incident had us calling because a treatment was ineffective and we were leaving for vacation. Repeated calls were made to the office beginning six days prior to our departure. Messages were left, but there was no response. When we went to the office the day before our departure, the doctor refused to see us, because he was at lunch -- so much for the Hippocratic oath. When we finally got an answer, we were told that the new laws prohibited the doctor from prescribing any other medication -- a fact I find dubious because I looked up the statutes.

The shame of all this is that several years ago, when we began using this office, they were efficient and helpful. They were genuinely interested in alleviating patient pain. Now it seems the office is interested only in getting as many patients as possible through the door -- customer service, thoughtful attention, and bedside manner have been jettisoned.

We cannot, and will not, recommend this office ever again.
