Industrial Electric Testing was incorporated in the state of Florida, fall 1987, as testing division of Industrial Electric Construction Company. James T. Hill, Chairman of the Board and Owner of IET, later purchased Industrial and became an independent testing company. IET is a full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association ( NETA ), an ANSI standards writing organization made up of independent electrical testing firms throughout North America and Canada. As a full member company of NETA, IET functions as an unbiased test authority, professionally independent of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the equipment or systems to be evaluated. Industrial's headquarters are located in Jacksonville, Florida servicing North, Central and the Western part of Florida, as well as, South Georgia. Since 1994 we have also maintained a branch office in Hallandale to service the Southern portion of the state. Our qualified, professional labor force insures completion of any project in an expert and timely manner. We provide emergency service to ALL customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks per year. Industrial Electric Testing's goal is to service electrical power distribution systems through thorough testing, inspection, maintenance, calibration and repair for all industrial, commercial and utility customers. We do this to insure the integrity of electrical system facility apparatus in respect to safety and reliability. IET has been active in this field for more than two decades.
