absolutely horrible experience. been wanting do drop by for yrs. finally went there the other day. abt 15 mins aftr seated, I was finally able 2 order a beer. another 10 mins till able order. place was only a third full, 12:30 pm, ordered Cuban sand. aftr abt 30 mins I finally flagged down the waitress, bring a soup bread, was famished. Sand arrived and was horrible, no pickles, was bland. wait staff NEVER checks back on U, Will never go back. I am a retried chef, I know good food & good svc, and its not at Havana Jax

Wonderful food, fun and atmosphere

This is another great privately owned restaurant that adds a bit of spice to what Jacksonville has to offer. Truly authentic cuban food served with flare. And the prices are very reasonable. They have a nice, cozy bar area as well as a very spacious dining room. Good selection of wines and beers and unique desserts. Definitely give it a try!
