Provided by YP.comGreat place to train. Prof Robert runs a tremendous school, gives freely of his time, and teaches a very technical brand of jiu jitsu. Nice guys abound in this place. If your passing through jax or considering taking up the sport, stop/start here.

Provided by YP.comGracie Barra South Jax is an incredible place to be affiliated with. The facility itself is clean and has everything needed to accomplish BJJ training objectives. Prof. Roberto Cuartero III is a BJJ blackbelt that runs his classes with even discipline, fair expectations, and a laser direct teaching style that makes the concepts presented easy to understand and apply. His level of experience allows him to quickly see mistakes students are making and then correct them so that the techniques are ingrained in the student properly. The Gracie Barra student curriculum follows a natural progession and allows the student to develop his/her skill in a systematic way that makes sense. The students that make up this academy work hard to improve individual skill sets and also ensure that their fellow students are progessing as well. Respect for each other is constantly instilled in every member. Gracie Barra South Jax is also an outstanding place for entire family involvement as the children's program appears to be fun, safe, and conducive to the development of a child student that is healthy, confident, and happy. Personally, I am extremely happy with my time at GB, and look forward to a long future training with Prof. Cuartero. I recommend GBSJ to anyone wanting to explore what BJJ has to offer. Students of this academy consistently place high in tournaments, and the pro mma fighters associated with the facility also maintain very successful fight records. Come check it out, you wont be disappointed.
