We had the best experience with Gilmore roofing. They were very explainable, they educated us on what they planned to do and described all of our options. They were extremely reasonably priced ...the quality of they products they used (we reviewed) were perfect for our needs. The office staff was helpful in moving dates for us and getting things done quickly.

Ask for detailed materials list, cost for delivery, cost for permit, cost for city inspector and trash removal. Also, insist to pay for the materials at the distributor directly in order know what you are paying for. Failure to ask affords the estimate to be much higher than necessary. All unused materials are returned to the distributor and the difference not refunded to the customer. Also, estimates are 25% higher than required thereby supporting the practice of the customer unknowingly over purchasing materials that are never accessed. Beware of the southern charm as this is a fox in sheep's clothing.



The onsite workers are EXCELLENT. Every day meticulous in cleanliness, picking up debris, and courteous. Two fellas Mike and Justin were top-notch and the most polite gentlemen you would want on your roof. They are the reason the rating was above 1 (star).

With the recent storms I developed 4 leaks in my roof! I had no choice but to get estimates and hire a contractor, I code the best! Mr John Gilmore came out, on time, inspected my roof and fixed the 4 I knew about, and gave me a extra repair for free!! His estimate was not the cheapest, but after meeting with him, I knew he wasn't going to rip me off. All repairs are sealed and not leaking! Thank you thank you! Wonderful honest trustworthy company!! Saved me 100s actually 1000s by repairing my roof when I was told by another company I had to re-roof it. Reccemend highly!
