Dr. Gilbert not only is the best cataract surgeon in town, he is also the best diagnostician. After my son's optometrist ignored his drooping, bulging eye I insisted that he see Dr. Gilbert. My son was seen almost immediately and a MRI was scheduled for the same day. Dr Gilbert even left his cell phone # with the MRI tech so he could be more quickly informed of the results. A mass was found behind the eye that was successfully removed by another surgeon.



All I can say is thank goodness we did not listen to the optometrist who said it was probably nothing to worry about. Our family will forever be grateful for the expertise and care Dr Gilbert gave us.



I know you have to wait in his office to see him. I would rather wait for the best care than immediate see someone for mediocre care. Just take something to read or your iPod.
