This is the most horrible place I have ever seen. The service is terrible.
The Maid service is pathetic and rude.
A maid came to our door and did not await for a reply, she just proceeded to enter until I informed her to stay out. I was just waking up, thankfully, I was covered. Their so called Complimentary breakfast was a joke.
The carpet had stains all over it and the furniture was ruined.
I will never recommend this Gator lodge should be condemed.
I will never recommended this place to anything dead nor alive.
They want a star to make this report and it is the only reason that I gave it one star. Again, I will never recommend this place to anything that is dead nor alive.

Pay no mind to the previous ratings. They are old. this one is from Feb.27 2016. This place is a dump and you could smell weed and probably crack and who knows what. Scantily dressed dirty women roam the halls.

The Gator lodge has definitely upgraded. Their rooms have been renovated. I've been here for 3 weeks and see not one bug. It's quiet and I felt very safe here with my 7 year old child. There are security cameras all over. The staff is polite and very accommodating. I would recommend this place to my family and friends. And I will definitely visit again. It's conveniently located right across the street from Walmart. And many places within walking distance. I was very impressed with the place.

If you are L@@KING for a fine establishment unequaled by any other in the city of Jacksonville; then this is the place to be.

Emmaculate rooms, BIG swimming pool, coutesy professional staff.
