The Florida School Book Depository is a private organization that serves educational publishers by distributing a variety of K-12 instructional materials to Florida schools. The depository is able to distribute books to public and private elementary and secondary schools at the lowest possible cost because the publishers pay the entire cost of running the depository operations. It supplies products from Cambridge University Press, Macmillan McGraw-Hill, Mosby, Prentice Hall, Wadsworth Publishing and an array of others. The Florida School Book Depository was founded in 1917.
