BEWARE Florida RV's used incompetence to bail on an eBay auction. I feel they never intended to sell to us; winning bid too low or my last name too ethnic. Florida RV says we didn't pay within 7 days. I say they purposely put someone else's name on the Bill of Sale. We won the bid on 1/29. On 2/2 the incorrect BOS was sent. 2/5 the corrected BOS went out; only after unreturned emails and phone calls. 2/12 I called saying payment for the RV was ready. Alice told me they already sold the RV. She asked why I don't use my husband's last name. I asked her why she needed to know and her response was, "there are guidelines..." Post $1k deposit, paying for a survey, loan-processing fees, insurance policy, and air tickets to pick up the RV, I am not happy. There are laws against discrimination and there are consumer protection laws; not laws against selling to people with unlike names. We are angry and offended by this transaction and hope you will choose NOT do business with Florida RVs.
